Imagine that you are opening a restaurant that sells convenient, tasty food that all your friends would want to come check out because it does it in a different way than other fast food restaurants today. Start by naming the restaurant and describing the concept.
Then, create 3 dishes to put on the menu
- Tell us what the ingredients are
- How would each taste
- How would each leave your customers feeling after they ate it
- What nutritional value would each provide
you know, my wife is good at assigning ingredients to taste, but i never have been. i'll do my best - regardless, this one is going to take a while.
ReplyDeleteThese homework assignments are fun to work on once we get going, but the software stinks out loud! Man, it's tough to navigate. There's not much chance to edit comments or spell check for erors. Maybe we should take over Google and set it right.
ReplyDeleteI'd name my restaurant Sam's Deli. It would specialize in fresh deli sandwiches. My ingredients would include all kinds of fresh deli meat, vegetables like onions, lettuce and tomatoes, various condiments and carbonated drinks as well as a broad iced tea selection. My customers would feel healthy and full as they leave, knowing they've eaten a balanced nutritious meal that tasted great. I would provide nutritional value if a customer inquired, but otherwise I'd let the food speak for itself.
ReplyDeleteAs far as menu items, I'd put together larger portion meals with ingredients that would offset the size of the meal - something like a chicken dish with rice, vegetables, mango chutney, light cheese (not the amount, a lighter cheese calorically etc) and a light yogurt in place of sour cream. basically dishes with unusual taste that would allow you to want to eat more than typical, but wouldn't penalize you for doing so. that would be a great fast food concept in my mind. so you walk out full, knowing that you hadn't done much 'damage' in the process. and no soda - lots of variants of water and juices - propel, etc.
ReplyDeletename - the body shop. something implying that you're not doing so much harm when you eat there.
